A Frame Fly

How to erect a Frame Fly shelter.

1. Lay the tarp out on the ground.

2. Locate the sides with the 3 loop holes.

3. Attatch cords to each of the middle loops on the side of the tarp.

4. Tie the cords to strong trees or branches at approximately the same level.

5. Use pegs or woooden stakes to pin down thef our corners of the tent.


A Double Walled Lean To

How to erect a Double Walled Lean To shelter


1. Lay the tarp out on the ground.

2. Locate the sides with the 3 loop holes.

3. Attatch cords to each of the middle loops on either side of the tarp.

4. Tie the cords to strong trees or branches at approximately the same level.

5. Use pegs or woooden stakes to pin down the two corners of the tent on one side only.

6. Flip the loose side of the tarp over the top of the sheet tied between the two branches. 

7. Peg or stake the two loose sides on the same side as the others.

An Envelope

How to erect an Envelope shelter


1. Lay the tarp out on the ground. 

2. Make sure you are near trees or branches that you can safely tie the tarp to.

3. Locate the sides with the 3 loop holes.

4. Peg or stake down the middle loop on the tarp.

5. Peg or stake down one side of the tarp.

6. Half of the tarp should remain loose or unpegged.

7. Attach cords to each corner of the loose half of the tarp.

8. Tie cords on corners to strong trees or branches.
 

A Windshed

How to erect a Windshed shelter


1. Lay the tarp out on the ground. 

2. Make sure you are near trees or branches that you can safely tie the tarp to.

3. Tie cords to two of the four sides of the tarp. Pick adjacent corners.

4. Tie the two corners to strong trees or branches.

5. Peg or stake the other two corners into the ground.
