Newbold School Forest School Early Years - Making a wormery and flying a kite on a windy day - 11th March 2021

 Forest School was amazing today!

It was too windy to go into the woods, so we flew a kite instead.

We talked about staying safe at Forest School.

We found beautiful things to put in our communal basket.

We worked as a team to get the kite into the air.

We dug for worms to put in our wormery.

Investigating nature in the spring sunshine.

We observed and discussed the plants we found like nettles, holly and moss.

We led our own investigations.

We loved helping each other.

We discussed what we found.

We talked about what we found and described our adventure with sounds.

 

We can't wait for next week.
