Forest School EYFS 20th May 2021 World Bee Day

 

Today is World Bee Day 20th May 2021

We made bee hats.

We looked for flowers. We scouted for nectar.

We wanted to find the perfect place to build a hive for the queen.

We had a queen bee in our hive who we worked hard for.

We built a hive for the queen.

We collected nectar from the flowers that were hidden in the woods.

Mrs McCormack bee was worn out from all the hard work collecting nectar. Bees work so hard.

We used syringes and pipettes to collect the nectar.  

Queen Bee gave her bees stickers for their hard work.

Bee Kind

Our queen bee was given honey to eat.

We all tasted honey that the bees have made.

We made a home for the bees near our school.

We love the bees!
