A bluebell walk, talk and pledge for Earth Day

We celebrated Earth Day on the 22nd April by going for a walk through the beautiful bluebell woodland near our school.

What a stunning display of spring flowers.

It feels so good to be in the sunshine again.

We made Earth Day promises like turn off lights when you leave the room and make sure you turn the tap off when brushing your teeth.

The Eco-School representatives in year 1 and 2 gave an Earth Day presentation.

The children loved it!

We are really taking our Eco-School work seriously.

The children were able to think of lots of ways to save electricity and water at home and in school. We promised not to litter and to take care of our woodlands and the creatures in it.
