Stanley’s Stick in Forest School

 

It was wonderful to be back in School this week. Our story of the week was Stanley’s Stick and in Forest School, we all found our own stick and used it in the same way as Stanley did in the book. A stick can be anything you want it to be including a dinosaur, a rocket, a fishing rod, an instrument or a spoon to mix. We loved using our imagination - taking in all the nature around us, as well as learning how to tie a knot to make a fishing rod. It was a super fun forest school and we observed autumnal changes at the same time.
