Year 1 and 2 Ice Safety at Forest School

 

In Forest School the children carried on building homes for nature as well as practising their clove hitch knot. They even managed to fit in some whittling and even sawed our new Forest School stick. We passed by the frozen ponds and had a very important discussion on why it is dangerous to stand on ice, which has formed on lakes and ponds.
