Year 1 and 2 - Learning the clove hitch knot and making knots with natural materials

Forest School was a treat as usual. After practising our knot of the week, the clove hitch, we ventured out into the cold. We found so much ice. The perfect opportunity for a recap on ice safety. We then found materials that we could knot. Whilst exploring, the children were visited by two beautiful robins looking for some worms.
