Whole School Forest School

Whole school forest school really inspired Cherry class this week. The children enjoyed sharing books about birds, even books from home.

We had a Forest School with a fire and toasted vegan marshmallows, bird watching, bird feeder creations and a bird treasure hunt. It was so wonderful that the whole bird watching experience started off with a Red Kite circling above us and ended with a mob of crows eating all our biscuit crumbs.

KS2 enjoyed whole school forest school in which they were able to support children from lower down the school as they were in mixed groups. They took part in the Big School Bird Watch for the RSPB and were enthusiastic about identifying the different birds they saw visiting the deer field and playground.
