An Outdoor Classroom at Newbold School - The Beginning of Our Story

Did you know?

We are trying to extend our outdoor learning offering by creating an outdoor classroom!

Why?
Immersing children in nature can positively affect their mental health by alleviating stress and anxiety, as well as enhancing mood. Children also learn to develop an appreciation and respect for nature. They begin to understand the connections between the natural world and their own lives.

News Flash!

On Friday our school council had the pleasure of hosting a visit from architect James Lowe, who came to discuss the design for our new outdoor space. James engaged the children in an inspiring conversation, encouraging them to share their ideas and visions. The children suggested lots of features they'd love to have.

The children left feeling excited and motivated to see their ideas come to life in our outdoor learning environment. We will keep you posted on the new developments in this exciting project.

Thank you James for giving up your precious time to help us at Newbold School.
