Woodland Trust Award - Newbold School

 

https://youtu.be/eiUcdOrAuWs We are now taking part in the Woodland Trust Green Tree Award Scheme.  Schools are rewarded for doing environmental projects such as tree planting, reducing CO2 emissions and visiting woods. You collect points for each activity you complete, progressing through bronze, silver and gold levels up to the prestigious platinum award. When we achieve gold, we will receive a wooden plaque to display at Newbold. This is upgraded when we complete the final platinum level. We will be launching this fantastic project with the children on April 22nd - Earth Day To celebrate this, we will be holding a ‘Whole School Family Forest School Party’ on Thursday 23rd May. Parents are welcome to attend.
