🌿 Exploring Nature at Newbold School! 🐞

Exciting things are happening at Newbold School as we kick off our Nature Park activities! As part of the Department of Education Nature Park Scheme, our pupils have been busy investigating the different areas of our school playground to discover habitats and learn more about the natural world around them.

The children explored carefully to identify natural and man-made surfaces, and they learned to distinguish between permeable and impermeable areas. They also studied patches of bare ground and identified the types of habitats found there. 🐜🌱

Through these activities, the children not only developed their observation and investigation skills, but also gained a deeper appreciation for the variety of life and surfaces in their environment. It was wonderful to see them so engaged, asking questions, and recording their findings!

We’re looking forward to continuing our nature explorations and seeing what other amazing discoveries await our young ecologists! 🌳✨
