Year 1 & 2’s Foggy Forest Adventure 🌫️🌲
This week, Year 1 and 2 went on a Forest School walk in the fog! 🌫️ The children loved exploring the woods, spotting leaves 🍂, roots 🌿, and noticing how the fog made everything look mysterious. They followed deer tracks 🦌 through the undergrowth and watched the water vapour rising off the wooden logs 💨 – it was so beautiful! ✨
Our walk linked perfectly with our Geography topic about the weather 🌦️ in the UK and other countries 🌍. The children compared what they saw in the forest with different weather around the world.
It was a magical morning full of exploring, discovering, and enjoying nature 🌳🍃, and the children had a wonderful time experiencing the forest in such a unique way. 🌟
