Let’s internalise this message before the Christmas overconsumption message begins.
Rethink our needs and priorities with our children’s future in mind.
Refuse those things we don’t need or we will just enjoy for a short period of time but will create waste immediately after.
Reduce the amount of new things we buy.
Rot what we can through composting.
Reuse what we already have until it can’t be reused anymore.
Repurpose! Be imaginative and give new life to objects we already have.
Recycling (right) should be the very last option until we’ve done all of the above.
