🌳 We’ve Earned the Bronze Award from the Woodland Trust! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our school has achieved the Bronze Level Award from the Woodland Trust’s Green Tree Schools Award scheme!

This is a fantastic milestone that reflects our growing commitment to sustainability, outdoor learning, and connecting with nature. Over the past few months, our pupils and staff have been working together to complete a series of exciting and meaningful environmental activities — from planting trees and exploring local wildlife, to creating nature-based art and learning about how we can protect our planet.

Some of the things we’ve done include:

  • 🌱 Planting trees on our school grounds to help boost biodiversity.

  • 🐞 Investigating minibeasts and learning how to care for their habitats.

  • 📸 Documenting nature through photos, poems, and classroom projects.

  • 🌍 Discussing sustainability and how we can all make eco-friendly choices.

The Woodland Trust’s Green Tree Schools Award encourages schools across the UK to get involved in outdoor learning and celebrate the natural world around them. Earning the Bronze Award is just the beginning, and we’re already planning our next steps toward Silver and eventually Gold!

We’re incredibly proud of our pupils for their enthusiasm, creativity, and care for the environment. A huge thank you to all the staff, parents, and volunteers who supported us on this journey. Together, we’re making our school a greener, more inspiring place to learn.
