🐞🌿 Year 1 & 2 Have Had a Busy Week! 📚✨

What a fantastic and busy week it has been for our Year 1 and 2 children! 😊

In English, the children became real authors as they researched different minibeasts and created their own information pages about a chosen insect. 🐜🦋🐞 They discovered lots of fascinating facts and worked hard to write clear, informative pieces for our very own class minibeast book. 📖 The children were so proud of their work and loved sharing their exciting discoveries with their friends. 🌟

Our learning continued outdoors during Forest School! 🌳🍃 The children became nature explorers as they went on a minibeast hunt, searching through different habitats to find insects and other tiny creatures. 🪲🐛🕷️ They learned how to carefully catch bugs using our bug hunting kit, observe them closely, and identify what they had found. 🔍 After watching and learning about each minibeast, the children made sure to safely release them back into their natural habitats, showing great care and respect for wildlife. 💚🌍

It has been wonderful to see the children's curiosity, teamwork and enthusiasm shine throughout the week. We are so proud of their fantastic writing, scientific thinking and love of exploring the natural world! 🌼✨
